Small Group TRAINING

At EBP, we believe that communication between the student and the instructor is critical to student success, which is why we keep our group classes small. We want each of our instructors to know you by name, know what your body needs, and provide you with the care and focus you deserve.


trios

3 students per class

In Trios, our signature small group sessions, you will work out in a group of no more than 3 students, starting with the reformer and moving to Mat or Springs. All Trios are 50 minutes in length. You can expect to experience the following in your sessions:

  • Reformer: Work the 4 S’s of Pilates on Joe’s iconic apparatus, ‘the reformer.’ Stretch your spine, increase muscular Strength, establish Stability in the body, and improve your mental and physical Stamina through the flow of movement.

  • Mat: Using only gravity for resistance, the mat class is the heart and soul of the method. Joseph Pilates designed this progressive sequence of exercises to develop functional strength and flexibility, beginning with the body’s core muscles.

  • Springs: Continue building balance and strength by using the many springs in the room. The Tower, the Wunda chair, and High Chair will challenge your stability, and repetition of efficient motion.

Prerequisites: Eligibility for TRIO is based on completion of 3 Private sessions. These can be completed with a TNT or a certified Instructor.


POWER TOWER

8 students per class

A brisk 45-minute class designed to stretch, strengthen, and balance the entire body. In Power Tower your instructor will weave together traditional mat work with the added resistance of the springs to challenge stamina, build strength, and stabilize the body.

Prerequisites: Please take 8-10 Private sessions or Trio sessions before taking a Power Tower Class.
